Rooted in tradition, yet not traditional. We celebrate
God with a faith that is active—not passive; demonstrated through
a strong conviction that His love is meant to be shared in the action
and attitude of each moment of our lives. |

Minister Welcome
Welcome to our church. You are about to discover the best-kept secret on the north shore of Milwaukee. We are a caring and open community of individuals and families who come from diverse theological backgrounds.
We believe that Christianity is less about a system of beliefs and more about an open and transforming relationship with God. As a mainline Protestant church, we value the contributions of modern biblical scholarship and seek to apply those insights to our understanding of God, Jesus, and ourselves.
We gather freely to worship, learn, and grow so that we may serve others as God has given us to love. We are an active congregation of caring individuals who take seriously our faith and its application to daily life. We have creative and dynamic worship services, Sunday School, outreach, youth, and fellowship opportunities. And, yes, we want you to know that YOU are welcome to join us.
Rev. James McKenzie

Music
We offer a range of musical styles to assist in worship. We mostly use traditional hymns and supplement them with more contemporary music. We have an active church choir, talented musicians, and a congregation that appreciates meaningful sacred music. Twice a year, along with Milwaukee symphony players, the choir presents a special concert for Christmas and Easter. |

Our Staff
James McKenzie is an ordained Congregational minister who received his theological education at Princeton Theological Seminary and Union Theological Seminary in Virginia. He has advanced degrees and training as a pastoral psychotherapist.
Sharon Neece is our Director of Christian Youth Education and oversees our cutting-edge Sunday School program. Our "classrooms" are dynamic in nature, interactive in style and operate from the modern Workshop Rotation Model of education.
Rob Fredrickson is a dynamic Youth Minister with fresh, creative ideas. As a graduate of Garrett-Evangelical Seminary, he has served in full-time youth ministry for over 16 years and successfully reached youth with just the right mix of lively fun and challenging spiritual reflection. He brings a commitment to excellence and a sense of caring that is truly inviting.
Sally Prodoehl has been our Choir Director since the formation of our congregation in 1983. She has many years of experience as a public school music teacher and applies the same high standards to the presentation of sacred music in our worship services.
Lori Dominiczak is our beloved church organist who also has been employed since the inception of our church. She is a talented musician who provides us with a variety of musical styles and faithful commitment.
