SUMMER SERMON SERIES

If the recent avalanche of e-mails is any indication, we’re in for a tremendous summer of worship.  Along with our special line up of musical guests, we’ve decided to pursue a sermon series on the “Tough Questions of the Faith.”  You know, the questions we all have but don’t often voice, such as:

“Does Prayer Really Work?”

“Where is God When We Suffer?”

“What Does It Really Mean to Be Saved?”

“Is Jesus the Only Way to God?”

“Is God Male or Female?”

“Is there Life After Death?”

“Are there Really Such Things as

  Angels and Demons?”

“Is there a Right or Wrong Way to Read the

  Bible?”

While the topics seem to be of interest to many of our church members, the format we’re using also seems to be generating some excitement.  Instead of the usual norm of Jim-preaching-a-sermon-while-we-all-listen, we’ve chosen a more interactive format for this series.  People are encouraged to “build the sermon” as they share their own thoughts, ideas, and experiences as they relate to the point of discussion.

Come and join us, you are in for a treat.
